Tony Latour
Toni Latour is a multidisciplinary artist based in Vancouver. Her practice humorously examines the drives, desires and anxieties associated with art making, often in reference to her position within contemporary art.
She has exhibited her work nationally and internationally since 1994 and has been awarded numerous grants and awards in support of her practice. She has recently exhibited at Artspeak, Centre A, onepointsix gallery and Helen Pitt Gallery, Vancouver, The Surrey Art Gallery, Gallery 44, Toronto, and SAW Gallery, Ottawa.
Her video and audio work are available at Art Metropole and V-tape, Toronto, The Walter Phillips Gallery, Banff, and Video Out, Vancouver. She teaches Interdisciplinary Media at the University College of the Fraser Valley, and Media Art at Capilano College.
