On September 23, 2005, I began a work in which I would do a performance action everyday for 1 year. In preparation for the project, I tattooed the date of the first performance on my left forearm to remind myself of this daily obligation. Once the project was completed I had the date of the last performance tattooed onto my right forearm.

A slide was made for each day’s action and is used in an automated chronological screening accompanied by a soundtrack of audio samples and narrated descriptions. Daily images were also posted on the web.

A generic form was filled out for each performance noting a description, title, location, number, date and other miscellaneous details. The white copies of the form were archived while the yellow copies were attached to corresponding relics from that action.
